Welded-Steel Frame Assures Long Life

Sales

Built To Last

Our bi-fold panels are built with double, rectangular, structural-steel tubes at the center hinge line. We use 2″x4″ on doors to 46′ wide, and 2″x6″ on wider doors. The remainder of the frame is welded together with 1 1/2″ or 2″ square structural-steel tubing, depending on the door size. Doors over 46′ wide are made in two sections that bolt together through super-strong, 1/2″ steel butt-plate joints.

Strong factory welded leaf type hinges are installed on the horizontal centerline and the top of the door. The top rail mounting hinges can be ordered with 9-1/4″ wide leaf up for wood buildings, or 3″ wide leaf up for steel buildings. There could be 4,5,7 or 9, top hinges, depending on the door width.

Our single-panel hydraulic doors are built with 4″ x 2″ x 1/8″ steel verticals on no more than 6′ centers, and 4″ x 2″ x 1/8″ horizontals. The No-Fold door frame is built with 6″ x 2″ x 1/4″ vertical support columns, with a 4″ x 4″ x 1/4″ full-width header. The frame includes a full perimeter bolting flange.

Heavy-duty factory welded leaf type hinges are installed on the top of each door vertical member.

All doors are primed with black water base oxide and painted with black ester enamel epoxy.
